We've Finally Found OUR Place in Umbria
After more than 5 years of dreaming, searching, and wandering through Italy, we’ve finally found our place: a charming home in the Umbrian hills, just outside Orvieto. 🌿
The area is everything we hoped for—gorgeous, fresh, and peaceful, with soft rolling hills and endless views in every direction. The house itself has three bedrooms, a living room, dining room, and a cozy fireplace. Our kitchen opens onto a spacious patio and a large garden that borders a church, adding to the charm.
Upstairs, our bedroom leads to a beautiful terrace with sweeping views of the hills beyond, often accompanied by the gentle sound of church bells. Miguel’s wish for a large garage and cantina has come to life too—there’s plenty of space for him to create his dream bicycling haven.
We definitely have work ahead of us, but the bones are good. We can already picture long, lazy meals and sunset aperitivos shared together.
